Brenda C. Figueroa, M.S., CCC-SLP has over 15 years experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a variety of school settings, home health, outpatient clinical, and hospital settings. Originally from Mexico, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Houston. She received her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Woman’s University. Brenda has completed specialized training in Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders through the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM), Feed the Peds, Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention, TOTs training, PLOT the TOT, Tongue-Tied Academy and various Talk Tools courses, including Oral Placement Therapy.
Brenda is dedicated to taking Continuing Education classes in order to better serve her patients and their families. Brenda enjoys collaborating with other providers in the area to provide comprehensive care to patients. Brenda is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a licensed SLP in the state of Texas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.
